the elderly woman at the table next to me said looked up at the waitress and said, "my dear, do you have any idea how gorgeous you are?"
the waitress laughed and blushed. the woman turned to me, she said, "isn't that right?" i nodded enthusiastically.
the waitress was very pleased.
note, if you will, the power of compliments that are given without obligation or ulterior motivation. try it out. give away genuine compliment like candy. try giving candy to strangers.
there is an idea reverse terrorism being championed by a friend of mine, whose name i will not reveal. sort of like random acts of kindness, but on a scale massive enough to capture the same attention as acts of terrorism. everyone in the empire state building goes to work one day to find a vase of flowers on their desk. something like that.
this is a good idea.
