fire away, that's the motto of the twistletons.

lately, i've been jumping. not always, but some. when you get up there and jump, it's not supposed to matter where you land. and it doesn't, really. except when it does...

but i have been jumping.

in other news, i've been thinking about the providence, river, which i walk over several times weekly, on the way to work. it is a highly variable river, sometimes as swollen as it gets when i walk to work and a good foot lower when i walk back three hours later. i've seen it though a couple seasons, and a lot of weather. it's an interesting river to look at. in the last few weeks, the fishermen have come out. there's an extra boat at the dock, and the wind on the surface is nice. the sunlight too. today there were two cormorants standing on one of those wooden things. last friday, there were swans.

it's a nice river, and a nice bridge to walk over.
